Sunday 14th July ride into Wales.

Slightly chilly morning, leg warms and arm warmers on with a gilet. Met up with Steve in Thornton Hough and headed to the Mills. Great chat with Steve, reliving some great rides and discussing about him joining future rides. A few group pics on the Mills before heading out into Wales with Graham.

We heading down to the river Dee along the cycle lanes to the blue bridge, up Hawarden hill and straight onto the Sun Spot. Heading through Leeswood, Keith Jones came fly past up the hill. Crested the Sun Spot and over the moors to the lights turning right along to Llanarmon. Bit of a shorter route than plan as I was feeling a bit fatigued. Joining the Ruthin road and heading back to Mold. Getting off the main roads and heading to Northrop, dropping into Connahs Quay and back over the board walk to Burton.

Saying goodbye to Graham, I plodded back .......59 miles for me and a great sense of achievement - thanks to Graham, great route and company.
